Antares begins by attempting to fling Luna out of the Square, but he gets stopped by his own daughter. With a HEAVY SLAM of her blade, the barrier shatters. He loses 20HP.
[ANTARES HP = 480]
[THE GANG, IT’S YOUR MOVE! WELCOME TO THE FINAL BOSS! BEGIN ROUND FOUR - ATTACK PHASE!]
"Thanks sis!" Luna shouts. Luna uses FIRE BLAST on BLACK HOLE ANTARES. Not only does it hit the much larger target easily, the flame also lingers causing chip damage every turn.
[ANTARES HP = 450 - BURNED]
Viper rises to her feet, her will only becoming stronger with the power boost as she imagines her dagger to be blue with coldness radiating off of it, she waves her dagger at Antares and speaks confidently, "ICE BALL" that same smile that was on her face earlier is still present.
[Because your ICE BALL is BOOSTED, it transforms into a rather hefty bowling ball sized chunk of ice launched directly at Antares' head. He goes to defend himself but his other arm breaks as well. Might not have been wise to block with his only other arm.]
[ANTARES HP = 420 - BURNED - BOTH ARMS UNUSABLE]
The fire continues to eat away at his body.
[ANTARES HP = 400 - BURNED]
Lyra, Viper's old boss at Nova Heart, runs in and throws a rock at Spark. It headshots him, but doesn't do that much damage. "That's what you get. Bitch!"
[ANTARES HP = 390 - BURNED]
Chandra finally finishes preparing his LUNAR BLAST attack and launches it towards Spark following a bunch of slashes in the air. The blast deals heavy damage to BLACK HOLE ANTARES.
[ANTARES HP = 340 - BURNED]
The fire continues to eat away at Antares
[ANTARES HP = 330 - BURNED - BLINDED]
Antares is now BLINDED by the light.
Patrice aims upwards at the inky black void that is Spark, imagining a giant beam of light piercing through the darkness, before pulling the trigger.
[Another heavy attack strikes Spark! It seems Spark is being especially affected by light! It's SUPER EFFECTIVE! ANTARES HP = 280 - BURNED - BLINDED]
Barry, who's been sitting on the sideline this entire fight, finally unstraps the clearly strawberry-themed sawed off shotgun on his back and shoots at Antares.
[He hits its chest but the damage is minimal.]
[ANTARES HP = 270]
Hinata is continuing to support the entire squad with her cheerleading routine. The music and singing happening throughout all of Capital City, to the tune of the BGM, is BOOSTING The Gang's weapons! Rhythm Rampage is in EFFECT! More people have joined her squad, further increasing power.
Glancing down at Error to focus herself, Spider advances on Spark aiming a powerful swing at him.
["TAKE THIS YOU FALSE DEITY!!" With my magic and your strength, the strike deals even more super effective damage!]
[ANTARES HP = 220]
[You all notice that as damage is piled onto BLACK HOLE ANTARES' form, it steadily becomes shorter and shorter. Considering half of his HP is gone, half of his height is gone!]
[With sheer rage in his voice and his eyes glowing blazing crimson, BLACK HOLE ANTARES fire massive shots of fire at everyone, but somehow, perhaps due to the power being sent from all over Capital City and beyond, every single shot misses its target. Unfortunately, the fire had to go somewhere and many of the buildings in the area catch on fire. On the bright side, you all notice a group of magic users enter the fray, some of them even looking vaguely like superheroes. One of them is someone Patrice and Spider might recognize, Patrice from the ARENAS in Fairview, and Spider from the MUSEUM OF LEGENDS. Wearing a nearly all white skinsuit with a blue waterdroplet logo on it, and wearing an orange cape with her name on it, FLAME FORCE has entered the fray, fully intending to fight the fires in the area to continue supporting THE GANG.]
[Antares looks frustrated. Everything he's been working towards are slowly coming to an end. His exhaustion is palpable. His shadows are even beginning to flow off of his body. And his daughter, Elara Amaterasu Estelle, looks genuinely thrilled.]
"Let's finish this shit!" Elara casts Wind Blast on Antares, knocking him back against the wall he stands in front of. The bounce back causes him to groan.
[ANTARES HP = 200]
[BEGIN ROUND FIVE - ATTACK PHASE!]
Hinata continues to BOOST everyone's power. EVERYONE IS BOOSTED!
Viper snickers slightly at Antares height getting shorter and shorter with each loss in hit point as she mutters to herself, "Awww, poor little guy" then waves her dagger at Antares as she speaks confidently. "ICE BLAST!"
[When you cast your Ice Blast, you feel like something is up with your Dagger. Something doesn't feel right about it. Perhaps you should look at your dagger to see if anything's changed.]
[ANTARES HP = 190]
Viper raises an eyebrow as she looks down at her dagger to see what's up with it, maybe she'd chipped it or damaged it when she fell down
[You notice another button light up, much like the sun and moon symbols from before. It's glowing in a multitude of colors, red, green, blue, and purple. Perhaps it's something you should press?]
Viper shrugs and presses the button as she wonders out loud. "What's the worst that could happen?"
[The Dagger of the Avatars glows and you begin to realize something. You feel somehow luckier all of a sudden, as if your rolls will be better from here on out. With this newfound power, the MANY GODS OF RNG grant you an ability called "Analytical Advantage". With Analytical Advantage, any successful attacks made with the dagger will require 2 damage rolls. The higher damage roll will be taken, with potential for other effects in the future.]
[Your previous 10 damage attack increases to 70 total. The Ice Blast covers much of Antares' body, making him slowed for the remainder of the fight.]
[ANTARES HP = 130 - SLOWED / BURNING ]
Patrice aims at Spark as she imagines a ball of ice the size of a bowling ball going at him at speed, hitting him squarely in the stomach, before instantly melting into a puddle. She then pulls the trigger.
[His size continues to shrink as his HP dwindles. With his HP under 100, the bar has come down from yellow, to green, and now red. He is grunting and groaning, and due to previous debuffs and burns, unable to react.]
Back in Fairview, Cole as per usual is sitting in his office, taking a long sip of a mystery liquid from a mug as the phone rings. With a groan, he picks it up. "What? I'm busy." A voice on the other end speaks with confusion, "Did...did you organize a rally in a very specific part of the city?" Cole raises an eyebrow as he stands up, setting his mug down as he answers, "I did not, what's going on?" The person on the other end explains what's happening as Cole nods along then answers. "Get everyone in the office outside, copy what they're doing! This is a matter of... worldwide safety."
A grand majority of the people in the office section of the CGI location in Fairview are now outside, stretching their arms into the sky and offering as much power as they can, though Cole is notably not participating. Either because he knows he would look stupid or because he would rather not lend all of his power to the fighters.
[That said, something does change. BLACK HOLE ANTARES is muttering something under his breath, an undiscernable language. Something in his darkness begins to glow.]
[ANTARES HP=50]
Spider squints at the glow, curious as to what it could be. Though regardless she takes her shot striking at Spark with Error.
[Spider uses me to strike through the remainder of ANTARES' HP. This attack does 50 to finish him off!]
[ANTARES HP=1 You didn't think it'd be THAT easy, Error?]
[Error's inscription changes to: "WHAT THE FUCK!? BUT NONE OF THE OTHER ATTACKS DID LESS THAN MULTIPLES OF 10??? What did you do Spark?"]
[Indeed. BLACK HOLE ANTARES SHOULD have been finished off from that attack and yet, while the strike to his stomach crumpled him, he manages to stand up with an evil grin on its face. The glow coming from inside of his newly-returned-to-normal-sized darkness increases in intensity. The shine within is blue and light begins to get absorbed into it.]
"Hah! Did you think that puny attack would kill me? Trust me, I'M NOT GOING DOWN WITHOUT EVERYONE WHO WRONGED ME GOING DOWN FIRST!!!!"
[His arms are broken. he cannot lift them, and yet the blue spherical light from within begins to rise up. Up into the clouds, shining a powerful, terrifyingly beautiful blue glow into them. Wind picks up from the sphere; the sheer power of this final attack is astounding. All those in Capital City and in Fairview see this happen. A destructive force never before seen.]
"THIS IS MY FINAL ATTACK!!! DESPERATION SPECIAL ATTACK: APOCALYPSE HYPERNOVA! DIE! DIE! NOVA CITY!"
[LUNA HP = 1]
The still heavily wounded Luna yells at Spark, screaming and even crying from everything she's witnessing. "What the hell is wrong with you Spark? You tortured my friends, you tortured my sister, and now you're having a fucking tantrum?? Seriously??? Fuck you! I'm tired of assholes like you trying to take my city away from me! I'm tired of being controlled. NOBODY WANTS YOU HERE!! I WANT TO BE LEFT ALONE!"
With a flourish and some seemingly random words spoken, a red flame surrounds Luna as she shouts. "Desperation Special Attack - CRIMSON CLASH!!" In her now fully controlled BOSS MODE, Luna flies up assumedly on her own power. When she reaches Antares' level, she slashes once with her blade. Spark attempts to dodge the strike but due to the still active SLOWED status from Viper, he is unable to. A rather hefty slash mark is made in Spark's chest and blood splatters from the wound. Magical energy from a combination of Hinata's RHYTHM RAMPAGE, all those dancing and singing in the crowd, and all those who sent their own energy is behind this attack, one that makes Luna much larger as a result. For the first time in a very very long time, Spark looks genuinely terrified -- his face no longer shrouded in shadows. "WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS? I HAD EVERYTHING. I FINALLY WON, SO WHY?! WHY! THIS POWER... SINCE WHEN COULD YOU DO THIS??!"
Luna just shakes her head and sighs, still floating on her own power, "You misunderstand Spark. This isn't just my magic. This is the magical power of EVERYONE YOU'VE WRONGED! This is the power of Capital City, the power of my friends, and the power of my loves. THIS IS THE POWER THAT WILL END YOU! Take this!” With a voice that does not even seem to come from Luna, one that echoes all throughout the city, she screams out alongside Hinata, "FINAL BLITZ - UNITED MAGIC FORCE!" With one last slash from her blade, Spark crashes to the ground, HARD. So hard that the road beneath them now has a large smouldering crater. Ironic considering this is what he did to Solaire and FMS the previous year. The once world-threatening power of APOCALYPSE HYPERNOVA dissipates and fades into nothingness.
Luna's Crimson Glitch Aura also fades into unconsciousness and she drops 20 feet towards the ground, but due to Hinata's quick thinking and her new winged form, she's able to fly up and catch her before crashing. Upon reaching the ground, Luna is laid out and is currently bleeding heavily. Bones are broken, skin and clothes are slashed. Her mana pool is nearly empty. She continues to breathe, at least.
[ANTARES HP = 0 - ANTARES IS UNCONSCIOUS. THE BATTLE IS OVER.]
