Viper looks on in awe at Luna and Hinata's attack, utterly star struck by her abilities. She then snaps out of her trance and rushes over to Luna and Hinata with panic in her eyes, "Shit shit shit!”
She's just heavily wounded and is currently sleeping in Hinata's muscly arms. Viper notices something she's seen before, where below her skin, it seems like her body is healing itself. Looks grotesque, but her open wounds are getting sealed.
Hinata just holds Luna and asks Viper, "is it over?"
Viper stares at Luna as she watches, her wounds sealing brings her relief in knowing that her love isn't going to suffer. Then looks over at Hinata as she nods, "I can't say for certain that this is over but....the battle is won, we are victorious." her voice carries the weight of not knowing if they've truly won yet, there's no saying if this conflict is over yet.
Patrice looks at Luna and Hinata worriedly from a distance. Knowing she'd be of no help in the first aid department, she tears her eyes away from them, and looks to the veritable smoking crater.
She moves towards the edge of the crater and look down to see what's inside, careful with her steps not to fall in.
Hinata just breathes a sigh of relief. "Yeah that was. Really hard. I think I'm just going to-" and she slumps to the ground out of sheer exhaustion. She doesn't seem as hurt as Luna, but you do see some makeshift wrapped bandages around her arms and a few rolls of gauze and bandages fall out of her pocket. It's like a makeshift first-aid kit. Some wounds are still open.
[The crater is about 2 feet deep and inside you see the former proud LEADER of Nova Heart Spark Estelle broken and battered. A large open wound is leaking blood from his torso. You see someone come out from one of the nearby buildings, a rather gaudy looking structure with white pillars and a fancy facade calling itself the Agency of Arcane Affairs Main Office. The woman looks rather fancy. Long pink hair and a flowing dress, a denim jacket over it, and wearing a sunhat as if they were headed out on a morning walk into the woods. She kneels next to the body.]
Everyone else in the Square is celebrating the end of Nova Heart's tyrannical reign.
"Hey miss!" Patrice shouts towards the woman. "He alright?"
[You see this woman with her hands out over the body.]
"Oh he'll be fine, but I'm sure he'll be feeling this very soon. My healing magic isn't exactly painless, unfortunately. Regardless, with time, he'll be back to normal; and considering where his current destination leads, he'll have plenty of time to heal."
[You see her affixing handcuffs to the broken and battered man. On her sun hat, an official golden badge can be seen.]
"Thank you for saving our city, madam." the woman says to Patrice. She's around 5'2" tall. Not exactly fit, but also not exactly without muscle. A stick of some kind sticks out of a holster on her jacket..
"Just doing what I can, ma'am," Patrice nods. "And that's mighty nice of you, though I suppose if I can do healing, I would, if only for the satisfaction of putting him into a cell." Patrice pauses, before continuing, "I don't suppose you would need help hauling him out of this here crater, do you?"
She smiles gently, "no no, the Peacekeepers will do the heavy work." Just as she says that, a group of black uniformed policemen - what they call the AAA Peacekeepers - step into the 2ft deep crater and remove Spark from the area, handling him rather roughly.
Elara stands near Patrice while watching her father be taken away. She mutters silently, "Sorry I wasn't better for you, father. I love you still." Tears flow from her eyes as she sits on the ground. The tearful goodbyes from daughter to father contrast heavily from the excitable party atmosphere growing in the city. All of the fires have been put out thanks to Flame Force and the other HEROs in the area.
Luna manages to wake up. "hey viper. did we do it?" Luna sounds so out of it, but most of the wounds on her body are healed.
Viper who had been watching this new woman like a hawk, looks over at Luna as she speaks and sighs with a smile, "Yeah, yeah we did, hon" she gently pats her head
Still tired, Luna responds, "im glad. thank you for fighting with us." Despite her being in her human form, her eyes look up at Viper like the pleading emoji. Hinata is continuing to wrap her wounds when Tina walks over to cast Life Wish on the trio. Everyone is fully healed. "Sorry about the wait, was waiting for the cooldown to end." Tina apologizes.
Viper looks over at Tina and nods as she sighs in relief, "Thank you, it probably would've taken them forever to heal." She lightheartedly teases then beams at Luna. She does the pleading emoji at her.
Luna smiles and a weak-sounding chuckle is heard from her.
Tina nods and heads back over to where Rebecca and Toby are standing. Catara is breaking it down filthy style. Which is to say she's actually broken down and oil is spilling out. Seems that version of LUNA 3.0 isn't exactly perfected yet, much to Toby's heavy sigh and Rebecca's giggle.
Sol and Tsukuyomi are sitting on a bench together instead of joining the festivities. They're holding hands like an older married couple should.
It doesn't seem like that the team who actually orchestrated and was responsible for the takedown of Spark, i.e. Eclipse Blade and The Gang, are getting any propert recognition for their efforts; nor does it seem like Luna or Hinata really care. What matters is that their beloved hometown is safe. In fact, FLAME FORCE and some of the other HEROs are getting more recognition for jumping in to put out the flames of destruction.
Elara is just kind of sitting by herself while playing on her phone. It takes her a few minutes between picking it up, putting it back down, picking it up, looking over at Luna and her girlfriends, looking nearly about to type something, putting her phone down, and then just groaning and typing the thing in before she seems more... at peace with everything. With that task complete, she slumps on the bench and breathes a sigh of relief.
Hinata is already up and has joined the dance party despite being near death only an hour or so ago.
The party begins to die down after a short while. It seems that giving power to Luna exhausted many of them. A few walk past her while leaving Nova Square with smiles and telling her 'thank you for saving us' and similar quips. With the square back to normal, not counting the knocked-down tents, the one ruined building, a couple stores being burnt and still smoking, and the crater near Nova Tower, Luna looks up at the group, asking. "Y'all ready to head home? I gotta get some sleep. Burnt out."
Patrice nods quietly, the rush of battle slowly receding, leaving behind a tiredness that comes out as a long yawn. "Let's go home," she says, while stifling another yawn.
Everyone else nods. Hinata looks ready to snap her fingers.
Spider nods in agreement, getting up from where they'd slumped in the aftermath of the battle. She sways on her feet as she grips Error tightly looking done by the emotional toll of the night.
Even ERROR seems tired after everything. Its inscription is blank but you can tell somehow that it's ready to take a long nap.
Same goes for The Revolver of Untold Secrets. About the only one who doesn't seem completely exhausted is Hinata. Perhaps that powerup she gained only months prior is helping with that?
Hinata snaps her fingers and everyone is returned to where ever they came from.
