She tilts her head between two of them and decides a flip a coin. When it lands on Tails, she smirks and mutters, "hm. That's fun. It's been a very long time since I last wore this. Best of both worlds."}
{6PM: The stadium where the Battle Under the Blood Moon is being held at is slowly becoming filled with much more people still waiting to get inside. The arena looks new and pamphlets for the new PRISM ARENAS which include something called SOLID technology are handed out to those interested. Many aren't, however. They just want to listen to the bands performing and watching two lesbians duke it out under the eclipse. }
ERROR - I understand I'm supposed to be an objective narrator, but can't they find a different way to watch two lesbians fight? :)
Luna - Now you see why I don't actually love doing this Error. Like it's fun, but it feels weird. Look, I'm not gonna complain. I'm gonna fight my hardest out there and I'm gonna look hot doing it. It'll be fun.
Hinata - That's the spirit!
L - But. This will likely be my last match in this way. I don't want to guinea pig Nova's creations anymore. Also what the hell is a SOLID?
ALAIS - Unknown acronym, but what I can gather, it is a new version of the technology used to create the battlefields. Apparently makes them more lifelike?
Which. It's basically glorified Augmented Reality. Just... Solid State.
Which... let's be honest here. You do not require an Acronym for everything.
{The stadium is just about full. As it holds nearly 2000 people, and considering there are still people trying to get in, it appears this battle may be one of the biggest sporting events Fairview Satellite has ever seen. The bands continue to cycle through the evening, most of them cover bands playing hits that everyone in Fairview recognizes. The Lunartics are scheduled to play at 9pm according to the schedule.}
H - Oh wow. That's... a lot of people.
L - Yeah…
{With a snap of fingers and the single muttering of the word 'teleport', Luna and Hinata have left the house and appear inside of Supernova Guild. A rather fiery red headed dark-skinned woman with piercing yellow eyes and wearing a black leather jacket, cropped red camisole, and black leather pants greets the pair. "YOOOO WELCOME. Y'ALL READY TO SHOW SOME HEAT?"}
{Luna chuckles, "oh hi Pyra. Yeah, about ready anyway. You didn't tell me the whole damn city would be here though!” Hinata is watching Luna and Pyra chat.}
{Hinata peers out the window and sees the whole crowd holding what look like sun and moon themed glowsticks and many of them are dancing in their seats, seemingly choreographed at that. "Pyra??" Hinata asks, looking incredibly nervous, "Are... You do realize we're not Idols right? We're just a couple of magical artifical women. Right?"}
{Pyra shakes her head and chuckles, "hah, no no, you'll see when you enter the Prism Arena. The SOLID technology will help it make more sense. Trust me. Gone are the days of simple holograms."}
{Luna just looks really excited. "Okay! You've gotten me interested now." She then holds Hinata hands and smiles, "Let's give em a show. Sound good?"}
{Hinata smiles brightly, "Bet. Okay, let's go get ready. Showtime’s in 2 hours and I'm hungry.” They slink into their green rooms to have a quick meal before showtime.}
{9:05pm:
The Lunartics step outside of the Guild and set themselves up on the stage. The band's lead singer, one Ashley Andromeda, speaks into the mic: "HEY Y'ALL READY TO ROCK??" The crowd responds with a healthy and incredibly piercing loud "YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!" and many shake their glowsticks as well. When they shake, they light up in purples and yellows to represent the combatants fighting soon. "THEN LET'S ROOOOOOCK!"}
{For the next 40 minutes, the music will be so incredibly loud, you could hear it easily from the woods. Thankfully, both Luna and Hinata have ways to block out the sound so they can't be affected. It will hurt and ears will bleed, but for fans of the Lunartics, they would not have it any other way. It's music. It's danceable. And even with her ear protection, Hinata dances in place while getting ready for battle. It's almost hypnotic how her hips sway.}
L - fuck it's so loud. why did Tsukuyomi have to give me fucking Audio Overload as a debuff???

A - Are we about ready to swap to the live feed?
K - Nearly. Just wait for the Lunartics to go away so we're not blasting eardrums out first. They should be done by 5 til
ERROR - Yeah. Narration says 40 minutes as that's what's in the schedule, but you know these rocker types are gonna do an encore or two. Typical :)

{The Lunartics have exited stage right and an announcer brings the massive stadium full of people to silence. "Ladies, Gentleman, and all those in between. Allow me to welcome you to Nova Heart's first test of the SOLID PRISM ARENAS!"
Only a few people clap. They came here to see two women fight, not hear about whatever sci-fi mumbo jumbo they're talking about. But as is with many things in The Magickas, SEEING is BELIEVING. The core tenet of Magic is if you can believe in it, it can exist. If you believe it, you can see it. Belief is part of our core. The announcer seems to disappear after speaking.}

{10pm}
From both ends of a massive glass enclosed cube stands two women. An announcer speaks from somewhere, a sound that's easily audible from anywhere in Fairview Satellite Guild. "IN THE BLUE CORNER, STANDING AT 5ft 11in and weighing 170lbs, give it up for YOUR CUBE QUEEN -- HINATA AURORA SOLAIRE NA-- NAOMI? NAOMI!" Cheers and applause ring throughout the guild and stadium as Hinata steps out wearing a pink dress with white-and-pink-striped stockings and cherry red shoes. Her dress is adorned with pumpkins and pinkish-red bows, some of which are candy-shaped. She also wears black long gloves. "AND IN THE RED CORNER, 4FT 6IN, 69LBS, AND YOUR CHALLENGER FOR THIS EVENING. THE VERY CONCEPT OF THE MOON ITSELF FACING OFF AGAINST THE SUN, VERY FITTING FOR TONIGHT'S ECLIPSE, GIVE IT UP FOR LUNA NIGHTSHADE!!!" Not as many people applaud for her, but it's still very loud.
They walk to the very center of the Prism Arena confused. Hinata tilts her head and asks, "Soooooo where's the battleground?" Luna is silent and stretching while looking up at her beloved. Luna is currently wearing a black and white Gothic Lolita dress with a blue ribbon on its collar, a white petticoat, white cotton socks and black mary jane shoes. On her tail is a similar blue ribbon wrapped near the tip in a cute bow.
“AH MY MISTAKE, HERE!” A rumbling occurs in the Glass arena and almost instantly, the once vacant cube transforms itself into a concert hall filled with lights, lasers, smoke effects, and thousands of simulated people shaking their appropriately colored glowsticks at the two. The moon shaped ones have a purple glow to them while the sun shaped ones are all in yellow. "THIS IS THE SOLID PRISM ARENA. WITH OUR NEW TECHNOLOGY, WE ARE ABLE TO CREATE BATTLEGROUNDS OUT OF ANY IDEA YOU COULD WISH FOR. AN IDOL CONCERT? THERE YOU GO." Another rumbling occurs and suddenly the cube transforms into a ruined overgrown city with lots of buildings and scaffolding to hide in. "A RUINED VERSION OF NOVA CITY? OF COURSE." One more rumble changes the arena into a field of sunflowers under the total lunar eclipse, one that causes Hinata to begin hyperventilating in, "OR BEAUTIFUL FIELD UNDER A MOONLIT SKY. IT'S YOURS. Which do you prefer?"
Luna shakes her head in a panic and requests "IDOL CONCERT." in a jiffy especially noticing how it's affecting Hinata. The arena changes back to its original first choice. "Right, with that out of the way, the rules of this contest are simple. 60 MINUTES. 100HP. FIRST TO KNOCK THE OPPONENT DOWN TO ZERO WINS. MANA UNLIMITED. AND OF COURSE, OUR MAIN ATTRACTION." The top of the skybox opens up ala a skydome revealing the total Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse hiding out in the sky. Its light shines down upon Luna who immediately feels something change in her.
Hinata smiles. "That's it. Show me your true form Luna. I'll do the same!" With an explosion of blue flames surrounding her, Luna powers up with a scream and stares down her beloved after straddling her Solcorp-branded broomstick. Hinata, on the other hand focuses rather hard and sprouting from her back are two pairs of hip-length black wings that she recently acquired. Or rather, it would be more succinct to claim them as 'always there but never realized.'
Luna looks up in genuine awe at her beloved waifu, "Those are... amazing. Are they soft?"
"You tell me!" Hinata begins the fight with a quick full body tackle directly into Luna.
[Luna gets BLASTED back off of the stage and immediately loses 2HP after crashing into one of the fake people in the crowd! 100H - 98L]
"YOU BITCH!" While down on the ground, Luna holds out her hand and announces, "Fires of Passion, take this! FLAME BURST! as a small spark of fire heads directly for Hinata's right wing. She's able to fly up before it strikes.
While floating in the air, Hinata clears her throat and asks, "AYO, WHERE THE FUCK IS THE MUSIC I PICKED?" The announcer responds, "OOP, MY BAD! HERE."

Then swapping her element to water, Hinata summons six bubbles about a foot in circumferences and shines some of her yellow psychic magic on top of them. "Here we go Luna! Water beats fire! AQUAPHOR BULLETS!!!" The water balls ZOOM down towards her love at speed of a blink of an eye. Predicting as such, however, Luna teleports out of the way and swaps her element to ice. Despite dodging, the bullets continue to chase her all around the arena, much to the laughter of Hinata and the enjoyment of the crowd.
After some quick dodging, Luna is able to make some space between her and the Bullets. She uses her own Psychic Magic combined with her ice spell, "FROSTBALL DELUGE!", to redirect the bullets back towards Hinata. Three of them manage to strike her in the leg and arm for 16 damage. [98L - 84H] Hinata snarls from the pain and continues to fly from the ice balls.
"See Hinata? You ain't the only one here with fancy tricks! Come at me!" Luna is currently floating outside of the glass cube and is heaadbanging to the music Hinata picked. Not willing to fall of her bait, Hinata swaps her element from water to light and casts a laser spell similar to that of Shadow Blitz called, "SHINING TEMPEST!"
The light laser hits Luna square in the head and causes her temporary blindness for the next move and deals 13 damage. [85L - 84H] Luna screams in agony and tries to get out of the Blindness debuff, but after casting "Snow Blitz" at something she thought was Hinata but totally missed, she recovers.
Hinata launches another Shining Tempest at Luna to keep her at bay, but Luna manages to speed out of the way.
Luna counterattacks with another Flames of Passion - Flame Burst again targetting Hinata's wing. This one connects, but it only barely clips her right wing after a skillful dodge. While the wing is damaged, it's not destroyed by any means, but it doesn't smell great either. Hinata growls at Luna and goes for more Aquaphor Bubble Bullets, this time surrounding Luna with 10 of them. They all seem primed and ready to launch, but Luna is unable to tell when. They spin around and all shake, looking like it'll hurt whenever Hinata is ready for them to hurt. [85L - 83H]
Luna attempts to speed away from the bullets but she's completely unable to. She pulls out her trusty Marked Broadsword to try and swat them away before they hit. Hinata is watching from much further below, almost as if she's munching on popcorn. Then with the swipe of a finger, one attempts to strike Luna in the small of her back.
Luna takes the hit and it deals 10 damage. [75L - 83H]
Another two swipes of her finger, as if conducting a symphony of chaos causes two more to strike Luna on the chest and hip, causing even more damage to drain from her. [55L - 83H]
It almost seems like Luna wasn't even attempting to dodge though. Almost like... she was waiting for something. Another swipe of Hinata finger causes one of the bullets to go for her arm, but due to some quick thinking and incredible reflexes, Luna is able to parry the bullet with her sword, which gets sent directly at Hinata at twice the force. Hinata takes the hit double harder than what Luna just dealt with and the concentration on her spell drops. [55L - 63H]
Luna looks up on high and announces, "Girlllllllll you know I'm good at timing. We play rhythm games together and who keeps beating you?" "You..." Hinata groans then launches another Shining Tempest at Luna's eyes temporarily blinding her for 2 rounds. "GAH FUCKING..." [42L - 63H]
"Phase 2. Get ready my beloved!" Hinata quickly flies up nearer to the eclipse and above her head shines a new ball of darkness, her Solar Empowered Darkness Burst. "Better hurry Luna! Or else you're gonna miss this!"
Luna quickly casts two spells somewhere and misses both then upon seeing the spell designed to end her game now, Luna focuses her Fire magic in the same way, a massive DnD style FIREBALL is being prepared in her hands. After a moment or two of preparing both massive orbs are launched at one another and both clash in mid air.
Light vs Darkness.
The Flames of Hell vs the Darkness of the Infinite Abyss.
Heat vs Cold.
Explosion.
Both Luna and Hinata are both knocked back HARD into the box causing both critical damage. Thankfully, due to the way the CUBES are designed, neither of them feel necessarily hurt or injured in any way, though perhaps their egos took the brunt. As well as their HP. [20L - 20H]
They are TIED. They both look tired.
They both stand up to the raucous applause coming from the crowds outside. It seems whatever they're doing, it's something their fans are loving. WIth a bright smile on their faces, Luna and Hinata step into the very center of the ring and hold hands. At the same time, the two announce to the crowd: "This is it my love. This is our final stand. Whoever wins here, it's just fun. Wait are we... FUCKING GODDAMN IT!"
Both Luna and Hinata's auras intensify as they stare into each other's eyes. [ECLIPSE BLADE MODE is active.] Their final decisive collision begins... HERE.
With their swords out, they clash! Magic? Nah that's not very sexy. Swords are totally sexy though! Years of training together, never once were they enemies or opponents. They were friends. They were neighbors. They were lovers. They cared for each other. They killed for each other. They survived for each other. They loved for each other. THEY LIVED FOR EACH OTHER. And this is it. 19 years after the Blood Moon Raid, it's finally time for them to know who is the better swordswoman. The better assassin. The better--.
No.
There is no better. They are equal. As the sword flght progresses, their HPs lower at the same rate.

The crowd is stunned into silence.
Luna and Hinata look into each others' eyes.
And they smile.
THE CROWD ERUPTS INTO APPLAUSE.
CHEERING.
CHEERING FOR THEM.
Is it the perfect way to end a battle? Course not.
For these two lovers, nineteen years after wishing to get married to one another, this is... perfect.
This is. Exactly what they wanted.
The announcer comes back on awkwardly, "Uuhhh. Soooooo no one wins?"
"Nah," says Luna, "I'm already a winner. I got my waifu!"
Hinata smirks and tackle hugs Luna planting a kiss on her lips. "Damn right. This was really fun."
"But.." the announcer continues "the bet! What do we do about the betting pool????"
Hinata and Luna look at each other and then glare crimson-eyed at the crowd. At the same time they yell, "THE FUCKING WHAT MATE???"
"Erm. Disregard." and then the announcer leaves before he too is made an Eclipse Blade target.
With her eyes calmed back down, Luna squeaks out, "So uhhh... mission complete?"
Hinata has a sultry smirk on her face as she responds, "mmm yeah. Ready to blow this popsicle stand?"
{A BLACKOUT OCCURS. EVERYTHING TURNS TO BLACK.}
{Minutes later, the screen returns to a scene unlike anything before.}

The Prism Arena is no longer in its Idol Concert mode but instead a field of immolated sunflowers. The screen cuts to the Lunar Eclipse much bigger than what it was before, almost as if it were crashing directly into the earth. Luna and Hinata are fighting something, but due to the cloak on their body, it's difficult to discern who or what they are fighting. All they know is red eyes pierce their veil.
The pair of lovers turned assassins turned lovers are absolutely in-sync with one another as their magic attacks follow up with perfect timing. Puddles of water are formed around the enemy as Luna electrifies them. The enemy falls for their gambit, stepping into each one, getting electrocuted, and taking heavy damage. Electrified Aquaphor Bubbles are also launched at their enemy and targetting their glowing weakpoints, slowly chipping away at the cloak and the invader attacking them.
The invader manages to retaliate with some kind of a wind attack that sweeps the pair off their feet and into the blazed field below, but they're able to recover.
{You notice due to the cameras focusing on the pair, they have burns on their skin and many parts of their dresses are singed and burnt. Hinata’s hair is on fire. It seems real. It's all real. Luna screams in pain from her burns and Hinata's wings are set ablaze. The creature attempts to lunge at them back into the fire, but they're able to dodge swiftly. The intense heat coming from the Cubes, however, is turning the battleground into a sauna. They are drenched with sweat.}
{Instead of fighting back, however, Luna and Hinata solely focus on evasion. They are outmatched, but while evading, they continue to attempt to chip away at their enemy with swords and blades instead of magic. It doesn't seem like their Mana is regenerating either. Eventually, after their stockpile of throwing knives are depleted, the creature can be seen. Large floppy electric blue ears, a young woman's body covered head to toe in scars, piercings everywhere. It's.}
"Elara? Why are you doing this to us?" Luna asks, focused solely on her target. "Why!?"
In a monotone voice, she manages to get out, "I'm no longer Elara. I am Hypernova. I am LUNA. I AM THE TRUE VESSEL FOR ERROR."
"Bullshit! Error stays with me!" Luna snarls, rushing Elara with her sword pointed directly at her heart. "I am the true vessel! This is my purpose!"
"I refuse to lose to you, Ella. What happened to you defecting? I thought you were with us, not them?" Hinata asks with an incredibly pained and parched voice.
Elara stares dagger at the pair of lovers turned assassins, "I was never with you. I was always with Spark, my father. This is where I must stand. I am sorry for tricking you." She then holds up a hand and from the end of it, a blue energy ball begins to form. "This is my destiny, much like your destiny is to stop me. To... end me. Goodbye. Apocalypse Hypernova!!!!"
[MUCH LIKE POWER CUTTING TO AN OLD TUBE TELEVISION, THE SCREEN WARPS AND TURNS OFF WITH A LOUD HISS. WHEN POWER RETURNS TO THE SCREEN, ALL DAMAGE DONE TO THE PRISM CUBE AND TO THE SURROUNDING AREA IS REVERSED. EVERYTHING LOOKS AS THOUGH IT WASN'T AFFECTED BY ANYTHING AT ALL. THE MOON IS BACK IN ITS ORIGINAL LOCATION. THE CROWD, ONCE RED WITH FURY, IS ALL GONE. IT LOOKS LIKE NOTHING EVER HAPPENED. :) YOU OWE ME LUNA. THIS IS THE SECOND FUCKING TIME!]
