Luna and Hinata are in the living room with aprons on while cleaning up the place. Living with four people can get kind of messy, especially when one of those people is a werewolf and the other is a cyborg. Considering all of the fights that's happened, and the dents in the walls, it's about time they fix up the place.
"Right, so I got the dents. You got the vacuuming Lu?" Hinata asks while patching up the walls from when Luna was thrown into it by Mailman.
"Yeah I got it. Nice to actually do something for a change. Nearly two weeks of cuddling in bed was starting to drive me batty."
"I know what you mean. First Nova returns and then Lochlan resets the timeline for the what was it? Fourth time now?" Hinata asks.
"Third. I imagine Viper ending Mailman's life via shotgun to the face was the straw that broke the camel's back. Reasonable honestly. I just uh." Luna looks away from Hinata and sighs, "I hate that I can't fulfill our promise. I really thought Rowan would've been perfect for her. It hurts me inside to know there's a promise we couldn't finish."
"We'll get them next time. Who knows, maybe this timeline's like the OG timeline. Just a temporary reset and we'll push on in the future." Hinata smiles and pats her on the back.
Luna shakes her head, "I'm not so sure. And besides, Cole was wrong. Lock wasn't the one who reset the Wickheck timeline. That was on the one named Jovian. The person who killed us."
Hinata rubs her neck, feeling a gunshot scar where the Wickheck iteration of Madelyn killed her, "Let's... get off that topic please?"
Luna looks down at her upper chest and neckline. What seems to be a necklace of scars the Wickheck iteration of Isaac gave her from chomping down and breaking her neck is still perfectly visible on her otherwise pale skin. It looks like a strange tattoo until you realize that's what was from. "Right. Have you heard from Jan, Phoebe, or Rebecca lately?" Luna asks Hinata while vacuuming under the couch, thankful no furry worm creatures are underneath there.
Krystal note - Yes, furry worm creatures were a thing during the Meridian Apocalypse Incident where the majority of the Wickheck timeline took place. We are still highly confused about this fact. Or the fact that it had root beer blood. What the fuck.
"Yeah I have. They're all in downtown Fairview. Apparently they get along rather well." Hinata chuckles, "It's like the old days of Nova when they were together. Well... minus Rebecca third wheeling." She giggles while putting the finishing touches on one of the patches. "Just gotta let this dry and we're all set there, then we can paint it."
"Glad to hear it. I wonder how Elara's doing. I hope, despite everything else, that at least Spark's treating her well." Luna sighs dejectedly as she hops onto the couch.
"Who even is Spark? I noticed your Commander mental lock unlocked, but a log was never printed out." Hinata joins her and cuddles up, laying her head on Luna's soft thighs.
"Oh that? He's just the person who absolutely ruined Capital City. And I mean years ago. Turns out if you give everyone Magical Abilities and let them run hogwild with them, people use them for bad things. He's the reason why the AAA put that ban on us. He was The Spark. But I don't know anything past th-- ackk. fuck."
