[Item Log - Chandra and Luna]
Luna - Gods I wanna go dance, but I know that would be easy pickings for them to snatch me.
Chandra - Correct Luna. Now will you come of your own free will or shall we take you by force? Your choice. And you know you can't stop us.
Luna - 🖕
Chandra - Ha. Okay, your choice is the more fun route~. Got it.
Luna - Shut up Chandra! You fucking creep ass. Ugly bastard, I've killed you once. I'll kill you AGAIN!
Chandra - HAHAHA. Bring it. Tonight?
Luna - Tonight. We fight under the New Moon. One on one. I will end you.
After the item conversation, Luna seems off, somehow more focused than usual but also seeming scared and distant from her friends. Riri requests she comes over to talk in person and maybe grab dinner together. Thus, Luna travels to Sunny Smiles and meets up with her.
[Location tag - Sunny Smiles - Riri’s Apartment]
Luna materializes in Riri's apartment. She sets her broomstick against one of the walls. "Hey, you wanted to chat?"
Riri takes a seat, the sword slightly distracting her. "I wanted to hang out and see how things are going since I haven't been around a lot."
Luna notices Riri's sight drawn to the blade on her hip and takes it off, "oop, sorry about bringing a weapon here, it's hard to come to Capital City anymore, especially with Tsukuyomi and now Chandra running around." She then takes a seat near Riri and smiles towards her, "Things are going..." she pauses for a moment, "Not the greatest I'll be completely honest. We've been struggling to understand what Solarshade was, and now with Solaire Eclipse coming up in the next couple days, I.. It's a mess. Everything is a mess, between Elara and now Chandra's revival."
Riri will be able to see Luna's infinity bracelet glowing a light purple. Riri's is now glowing dark blue if she has it equipped.
Riri tears up a little. "Hey, did you find her? And why are the bracelets doing that?" Riri wipes her eyes and touches the bracelet. The bracelet doesn't react, but touching it makes Riri feels safe, as if the four are all together in harmony.
"Yeah, I know where she's at. She's at Central Square waiting for the Eclipse. Alongside her birth father. She's not able to leave. But I did talk to her last night in my dreams and she's safe." Luna sighs and on turning her head away from Riri, she wipes her tears. "As for the bracelets, I'm not sure. I've noticed mine glows anytime it's near another one. Maybe it's a reminder that we're all friends."
"I feel better knowing she is still out there." Riri smiles and laughs a little. "I wonder if the glowing gets even brighter when we are all in the same place." "That would be really cool if so," Luna giggles. Her shoulders relax a bit before shifting her stance to be a bit more comfortable, "So how are you handling things? I imagine it's a bit much to live out here."
Riri is nervous at the question. "It feels isolating, yeah. It has been hard to take care of myself." Riri clears her throat. "But I'm still here and still in one piece so I'm okay."
Luna nods, "okay, that's good. I admit, when I had fucked up your summoning, I was scared of side effects. You survived being glitched into this world, you're extremely lucky." And then Luna clears her throat and mutters under her breath, "luckier than me, that's for sure. Are you sure there isn't anything that... I dunno, concerns you about your form?"
Riri shakes her head. "I'm still not sure why I'm shorter and bluer. It's cute but it's wrong. I'm not fine mentally but that could be anything. Uh, what makes you ask?"
"Just making sure honestly. I feel bad for screwing it up so badly, so I want to make it up in any way I can." Luna exhales and checks her phone with a sigh. Shaking her head, she puts it away and returns to her previous pleasant nature. "I'm learning more about myself too. Like the fact that I have a pet Creature of Legend is unheard of."
Riri shrugs at the error she made. "To be fair, it was me who made the choice to come here on a whim. I sometimes think I made a mistake there. I should've thought it through more." Riri is silent for a moment before apologising.
Luna somberly nods, "i'm sorry I'm not the usual beacon of hope I normally try to be. Just dealing with a lot of stress. But regardless, I'm glad you're here with us. And I'll make sure to visit more often." Luna once more looks at her phone and sighs, "Right, I uh probably should get going. I got a erm. Meeting to get to." It's extremely easy to tell she's lying. The level of sighing and glancing at her phone is suspicious.
"I understand. Stay safe, Luna. I know what you're about to do and I don't like it." Riri anxiously points to their phone, open on #luna-thoughts in the server. "I really feel like you're falling into a trap by going on your own. I won't tell the others if you don't want me to, but please be honest."
Luna's voice becomes extremely scratchy and monotone as she stares ahead. "...right. And yes I'm aware it's a trap, but it's my destiny. I was predestined from the time I was created to be Solaire's downfall. Hence Project Solaire Eclipse, a moon covering up the sun. If I don't go, I will be captured either way. It's impossible to deny this. I know people will fight back, and I want them to win. I want nothing more than to lose."
Riri sits in silence for a moment. "After all of that fighting and all of that work trying to unlock your mind and your life, you throw it away? It's your decision and I'll try to respect it but this is still worth fighting for. It's not impossible to change."
"..." Luna goes dead silent in thought, closing her eyes and furrowing her brow. It seems she's deep in thought.
"Uh, hey. I didn't mean to be rude. I just don't want you to do anything you'll regret later."
Luna shakes her head and exhales deeply, "no that wasn't rude in the slightest. It made me really think about things. I've never been good with decision making, and I thought, I'll just sacrifice myself to the moon and let them enact whatever destiny shit they want to do. But you're right, I do this and I'm throwing myself away. Throwing away all of the hard work y'all have done. It's selfish. I'm not going."
Riri nods up at her. "I appreciate it. I just don't want us to split off and do things alone. It just makes it a lot more risky."
"Thank you Riri. Thank you for stopping me." Luna softly smiles. "If they want me, they're gonna have to come find me."
"Anyway, I should probably get back before Hinata thinks I died. I'll talk to ya later?" Luna smiles as she reequips everything.
Riri gets up from the sofa to help her get ready to go. "Sounds good. I'll talk to you all soon."
Luna nods as she disappears with a smile on her face
