Patrice: Hello! Hope you... two (?) are feeling well today. Luna: Hi there, yeah we're good this morning. Krystal: And yeah you're right, I'm basically another soul living within Luna's mind. Nice to meet ya Mrs. Kolt, I'm Krystal. |
Patrice: Thanks, Krystal. How does that work? If you don't mind me asking, of course. Krystal: Oh that is perfectly fine. I was murdered about a decade ago, but with my Tech Possession magic, I'm able to move my soul between electronics. The collar Lunes has on includes some electronics, as well as the transmitter in her brain. I'm able to swap between her collar and her transmitter extremely easily. Luna: Yup. She can also swap to other pieces of technology. If you've ever played Ghost Trick - Phantom Detective, her magic is similar to that of Sissel's Ghost Tricks. |
Patrice: So Krystal is like Giffany from Gravity Falls, then? Krystal: Similar anyway, minus any yandere vibes. I'm more of an assistant to Lunes, helping her cope with things and just being there when she needs someone to talk to. Luna: Yeah, Krystal is honestly my best friend in these Worlds. |
Patrice: So how did you two meet? (if you don't mind me asking, of course) Krystal: Oh that is fine. I was a worker over at Solaire for the longest time, and one of my duties was to run tests on the LUNAs we had created. For some reason, I'm not entirely sure, there was a spark between us. It's like the two of us had an instant friendship. We spent the better part of a few years working with each other and hanging out, when I got the idea alongside another coworker to break her out. The fateful day came and we fought the guards and labcoats to bring her out and help her experience the real world. We actually intended to release one other LUNA, cuz there was one more that Lunes really liked spending time with and the four of us enjoyed ourselves together, but unfortunately, when we hatched the plan, the other one was nowhere to be found. I admit, even 12 years later, I still feel horrible about not bringing out 4444. But yeah, that's how it happened. Luna: ... Wait, you had planned to bring 4444 out too? Krystal: Yeah Lunes. You two were best of friends, it was only natural that we'd at least try. But unfortunately, it was either risk everything for one life or the three of us would die. Luna: ... |
Patrice: That's quite the story. Hope things are better now for you. / Do you have a flicker of a guess as to where 4444 might have gone? Krystal: Unfortunately, I couldn't tell you. Most LUNAs have a very little life expectancy due to how they were made. The fact that Lunes is still alive after 34 going on 35 years soon is a God send. She's probably one in a trillion at this point. I'm... well, I don't want to just assume and then make an ass of myself, but the most likely situation is that 4444 has passed away. But who knows, maybe 4444 got out and found herself a life of her own, away from Solaire's bullshit. I would love to think that. |
Patrice: Let's hope that that is the case, and we get the four-leaf clover. / I keep seeing you capitalize LUNA as such. Does it stand for something? Krystal: It does. LUNA stands for Lifelike Ultra-obedient Nekomimi Androids. The A was often replaced with Assassins to be cruel, |
Patrice: Assassins? Like John Wick? Krystal: Kind of. Most LUNAs were designed to be popcorn fodder for more major enemies, but a couple were able to rise up and become major enemies themselves. Luna: ...yeah. i remember having instructions fed to me but then i would wake up with blood on my hands. |
Thinking about 4444
I barely remember them. Honestly, had I not unlocked that memory, my entire recollection would've been gone. I... I don't why, but I'm feeling an sense of deja vu with all of this.
Like...
Lunes, you can let it out. You got tons of people supporting you.
Like I've... I just have a feeling, kind of like an itch from deep within me, that she's still alive somewhere in the Worlds. Maybe she did escape from Solaire like Mrs. Kolt said. That...
Maybe I'm not the only LUNA left in the Worlds after all.
