Pink Moon Memories

Dancing in the Moonlight

On the night of the Pink Moon, a night extremely important to the pair, Hinata and Luna return to their bedroom to hang out. With their shared bedroom being a planetarium in another dimension, they lay in bed together while watching the simulated sky. The full moon is seen alongside clouds and plenty of stars, and they’re able to enjoy it without being affected.

It’s reminiscent of the night they were bound together for eternity: the night of the -Blood Moon Raid on Solaire Enterprises-. That was the night the two of them solely survived, and the night their futures were changed. Some say it’s for the worst. They received mental locks and intense hypnosis training; as well as punishing physical, mental, and psychological training/torture to become emotionless thoughtless assassins. If you asked Luna and Hinata, however, they would tell you they wouldn’t have asked for anything else. As painful as it was, they were able to be together instead of completely alone. They were an unstoppable duo. It was fun, even is this entertainment was at the World’s expense.

While sitting on their bed and staring into the artificial Pink Moon together, they get this uncanny feeling of being watched. That can’t be right though! Rooms in this special dimension are designed so that no other life can exist other than those in [the kiss]. It doesn’t feel wrong though, nor does it feel sinister. THE FULL MOON watches over them as a peaceful witness. They feel at peace. They feel safety and serenity. The moon… is right?

But that can’t be! The Moon Isn’t Right… right??? Everyone in all Worlds knows this!

No. For once, the moon is… right.

Getting up from their bed, the pair look at each other in the eyes while they share a dance under the moonlight and in each others’ loving embrace. They stay like this for a little while, music not needed. They feel the rhythm just by themselves, smiling with tears in their eyes. They’ve finally made it, a promise they made long ago. After some time passes, Luna and Hinata return to their beds together while continuing to stare at the moon.

Luna turns her head towards Hinata, blushing, “At least we’re together again. Our promise we made together wasn’t broken.”

Hinata nods and kisses her love, “You’re right. It’s so incredibly nostalgic. We survived that explosion spell! Our fates were sealed from that point on. It’s amazing how that trip into the forest saved our asses.”

Hearing that, Luna feels an intense headache come over her. Hinata tilts her head and wonders if it’s the Mental Lock affecting her. Luna shakes her head, “Still got nothing. All I remember is our family getting obliterated and from that point, our hands were stained with blood. I thought we were supposed to be HEROES?”

Hinata rubs Luna’s back, “If we’re gonna be damned, then I’m glad I get to be damned with you. I love you Luna.”

Luna cries heavily while struggling to remember and Hinata keeps her in her embrace. After failing to remember once more, they both fall asleep and stay like this until morning.
